Cauliflower - Lesson Idea for Preschoolers
An interesting way to teach about cauliflower is to involve the
kids in a little craft activity first and then start teaching.
What you will need:
- Cauliflower shaped green cardboard cutout
- White cotton balls
- Craft Glue
How To:
1. Prepare a cutout of a cauliflower on green cardboard.
2. Apply thin glue over it as the class begins.
3. Ask each student to glue one cotton ball on the cutout to form
the florets of the cauliflower.
4. Once the cauliflower is done, teach the students about the
cauliflower using the prepared cauliflower as an example.
Things to Teach:
1. Cauliflower is a vegetable.
2. Show it's colors.
3. How it looks like broccoli.
4. What things can be made using it.
